Why your current policy will not do

Homeowners policies exclude business use. A guest gets hurt, you file, and the adjuster finds your public listing in about ninety seconds.

Platform protection is not insurance

It is secondary coverage with real carve-outs and a claims process — commonly excluding wear and tear, cash, pets, mould and loss of income — and it generally sits behind whatever policy you actually hold.

If your plan is “the platform covers it,” your plan is that something sitting behind a policy you do not have will pay out. That is not a plan.
