The Cleaner

Why the cleaner matters more than your realtor, your lender and your pricing tool put together.

5 min read +10 XP

Of everyone in this course, this is the relationship that most determines whether you enjoy owning the property.

Your realtor touches this house twice. Your cleaner touches it sixty-four times a year, and every review a guest writes is really a review of their work.

What they actually deliver

Not “a clean.” A reset of a small hotel room that eight strangers just lived in — beds stripped and remade, bathrooms, kitchen including inside the microwave, pool deck, trash, restock, and the whole house put back to match its photographs.

Three to four and a half hours on a 3-bedroom pool home, at $125–$165 in Central Florida.

What they see that you cannot

This is your only eyes on the property. It is also the only evidence that ever wins a damage claim, because a claim is won by proving the damage is new — which needs a clean photo from the turn before.

Still with me? Then the thing that makes them irreplaceable.

They are your deadline

Six hours of room for a four-hour job. When that works, nobody notices. When it does not, you are the one explaining to a family standing in a driveway.
